Landslides caused by a tropical depression across the Philippine province of Benguet have killed at least 90 people and injured hundreds of others.
Officials say the landslides started yesterday afternoon and continued all night, affecting several municipalities.
It’s reported that some 35,000 people are now being housed in evacuation centers.
Officials say rescue efforts are being affected by floodwaters, which have blocked roads and destroyed rescue boats.
In the past several days, the Philippines has experienced significant rainfall having been hit by two storms, which also resulted in extensive flooding.
