St James high beats Muschett High

Reigning champions St James High defeated Muschett High 3-1 at Jarrett Park yesterday to become the first school to qualify for the Inter-Zone round of the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel daCosta Cup competition.



Following the victory, St James High have moved to 21 points to take sole leadership of Zone ‘A’.



In the group’s other match, Herbert Morrison beat Spot Valley by a similar 3-1 score line.



Over in Zone ‘D’, Cedric Titus scored a 4-nil victory over York Castle; Marcus Garvey edged Aabuthnott Gallimore High 2-1 while Brown’s Town and Ocho Rios played to a 1-1 draw.



Over in Zone ‘J’; Charlemont beat Ewarton 3-0 while Glengoffe and McGrath ended 2-2.



Over in Zone L-A:- Fair Prospect and Buff Bay battled to a 1-1 draw; while in Zone L-B Paul Bogle hammered St Thomas Technical 5-1 and Yallahs and Morant Bay ended 1-1.



The competition continues tomorrow.
