Lara says WI will be whitewashed by Australia

West Indies batting legend, Brian Lara expects the Caribbean side to be whitewashed, when they visit Australia later this year for three Tests against the former World Number One side.



Lara said West Indies would be at a disadvantage because the players haven’t played together for a long time because of the contractual dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board and the West Indies Players’ Association.



Lara further said he’s hoping that the West Indies team can compete against Australia over five days.



Lara is in Melbourne for a month-long promotional tour.
