West Indies beaten again

West Indies suffered a seven-wicket defeat to hosts South Africa in their third Women’s One-Day International at Boland Bank Park today.



South Africa now take a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.



West Indies, batting first, were bowled out for 160 with five balls remaining.



Jamaican Stafanie Taylor topscored for West Indies with 66.



Bowling for South Africa Shandre Fritz ended with three for 11, Dane van Niekerk had three for 37 and Charlize van der Westhuizen two for 31.



Needing 161 for victory, South Africa ended on 163 for three off 40.4 overs with Cri-zelda Brits undefeated on 60.
