Taylor achieves career-best rankings
West Indies opener Stafanie Taylor has achieved a career-best ranking of 11th following the latest International Cricket Council (ICC), One-Day International Women’s rankings.
The Jamaican teenager, following a good series against hosts South Africa which ended in Cape Town on Friday climbed 11places to achieve her career-best ranking.
Taylor is now the only West Indies batter in the top 20. The next highest-ranked West Indian is Deandra Dottin, who has climbed 4 places to 28th position.
The batting is headed by ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year Claire Taylor of England, while her team mate Sarah Taylor is second and former India captain Mithali Raj third.
England’s Holly Colvin remains top of the bowlers’ list, with India captain Jhulan Goswami in second position.
