The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) will hold an emergency meeting with the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) tomorrow morning to discuss the spate of violent incidents associated with the senior schoolboy competitions.
The meeting will take place at the offices of the JFF, beginning at 11:30.
The JFF called the meeting 24 hours after the ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup second round encounter between Jamaica College and Calabar was marred by an incident in the 62nd minute.
The father of one of the Calabar players raced onto the field to confront a player from Jamaica College, who had tackled his son. The father had to be pulled from the field by a plain-clothe police officer.
