St Georges qualify for final
St Georges Sports Club has earned the right to meet Tivoli Gardens in the Digicel Premier League’s End-of-first-Round final on Sunday after beating Village United 1-0 in their last round-one fixture a short while ago.
The game was played at Lynch Park in Portland.
Oshane Dobson scored the only goal of the game in the 34th minute.
As a result of the victory, St Georges Sports Club has moved top of the table with 24 points, one ahead of already-qualified Tivoli Gardens, who are now facing Portmore United at Ferdie Neita Park.
In a late kick off game, third place Harbour View, who entered the day with a chance of getting into the final if St Georges Sports Club was beaten, will face Arnett Gardens at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, starting at 6 p.m.
Also at 6 p.m., ninth place Rivoli United and third-from-the-bottom Sporting Central Academy will face off at Spanish Town Prison Oval.
