South Africa seal series against Zimbabwe
JP Diminy warmed up for the first Twenty/Twenty international against England with a maiden one-day ton as hosts South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 212 runs in the second limited over match at Centurion today.
Diminy hammered nine fours and two sixes in an unbeaten 111 from 87 deliveries as South Africa amassed 331 for five.
Jacques Kallis supported with 81, while Graeme Smith hit 53 and Mark Boucher 31.
Bowling for Zimbabwe, Raymond Price ended with three for 55 and Prosper Utseya had two for 53.
Needing 332 for victory, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 119 off 34.3 overs against the bowling of Albie Morkel three for 20; Roelof van der Merwe three for 27 and Charl Langeveldt three for 36.
Tatenda Taibu scored most runs for Zimbabwe with 52 from 71 deliveries.
As a result of the victory, South Africa have sweep the two-game series.
