England score fighting victory over South Africa ‘A’

England produced a strong batting display to beat South Africa ‘A’ by four wickets in their final warm-up before Friday\'s opening one-day international.



Replying to the hosts\' 279-9, England ended on 281-6 with 11 balls to spare.



In-form skipper Andrew Strauss gave England a fine start with a 71-ball 65. He was supported by Jonathan Trott with 74, Matt Prior 54 and Luke Wright 25 not out.



Earlier, Graham Onions, 2-46 and Wright 2-48 were the most successful bowlers for England.



Andrew Puttick top scored for South Africa ‘A’ with 62, while Heino Kuhl scored 42.
