Good start for young Reggae Girls

Jamaica defeated Cuba 1-0 yesterday for a perfect start to the second round of the Caribbean Football Union stage of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers in Trinidad and Tobago.



The match took place at the Marvin Lee Stadium.



Sashana Campbell scored the lone goal of the game in the 11th minute.



Jamaica will next tackle St Kitts and Nevis tomorrow and close out against hosts T&T on Sunday.



The Young Reggae Girls are searching for 1 of 3 places to the CONCACAF Final Round competition in Guatemala next January.
