Premier League Round Up

Harbour View and Arnett Gardens recorded the only victories during yesterday’s round of matches in the second round of the Digicel Premier League.



Harbour View, courtesy of a Marcelino Blackburn goal in the 85th minute, defeated Boys’ Town 1-0 at Harbour View stadium to move to joint second place with defending champions and first round winners Tivoli Gardens.



Arnett Gardens defeated Portmore United 2-1 at the Anthony Spaulding Complex, to move to joint fifth place with Waterhouse and Portmore United.



Garfield Gillespie and Cornel Chin-Sue scored for Arnett Gardens, while Sheldon Mundle got the goal for Portmore United.



In other games, leaders St George’s Sports Club and Humble Lions battled to a goalless draw at Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon, Tivoli Gardens and Waterhouse played to a 1-1 draw at Edward Seaga Stadium, the game between Village United and Sporting Central Academy at Elliston Wakeland Centre ended 1-1, while Rivoli United and August Town played to a 1-1 draw at Spanish Town Prison Oval.
