Gayle to return to Australia

West Indies captain Chris Gayle is scheduled to depart Jamaica today for the first Test in Australia, starting in Brisbane on Thursday.
Gayle was in doubt for the opening Test after flying home last week to attend to his ill mother in Jamaica.
He is expected to arrive a day before the first Test bowls off.
The 29-year-old said his mother had made a significant recovery and he would now turn his attention to the Australia tour once again.
