Rahul Dravid laid the platform for hosts India with a serene, yet commanding 144 before Yuvraj Singh and VVS Laxman hit fluent fifties to lead their team to a position of immense strength in Kanpur in the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka.

India consolidated their position further by removing Tillakaratne Dilshan for a first-ball duck, leaving Sri Lanka on 66 for one at stumps on day two, replying to India\'s massive 642.
