Prison inmate runs escort service

The police in Grenada are investigating how a prison inmate was able to set up and run an escort service from his cell for two months.



Officials say a 25-year-old man managed to use his connections outside of prison to advertise the service in a local newspaper.



He was also able to recruit and manage an undisclosed number of young women between the ages of 17 and 20.



The issue of the escort service became a hotly debated topic when an opposition senator called for an investigation into the advertisement in the newspaper.
