Johnny Bloomfield to defend his Jamaica Open title

Defending Champion, Johnny Bloomfield will be back to defend his Jamaica Open title this year.



Bloomfield who was also champion in 2006, defeated last year’s runner-up, Dermott Warren, by 9 strokes with a 6 under par 210 score at the end of the championship with daily scores of 71, 68 and 71 on the 72 par course.



He stood atop the leader board from day one and led each day until the end of the championship.



Bloomfield expects to do well again this year coming off the high of qualifying for the CanTour in 2010.



Warren will also be back to challenge Bloomfield for the title.



He is a local based professional golfer who entered the championship last year for the first time.
