Defending champions Tivoli Gardens have regained the lead in the Digicel Premier League following a 2-0 victory over Humble Lions a short while ago in their rescheduled game at Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon.

Navion Boyd 26th minute and Owen Powell 42nd minute scored the goals for Tivoli Gardens.

As a result of the victory, Tivoli Gardens have moved from third place to first. They have now tallied 30 points, one ahead of St Georges and Harbour View, who are locked on 29 points.

Harbour View, who were in a good position to take the lead, had to settle for a goalless draw against ninth place Sporting Central Academy in the other rescheduled game at Brancourt in Clarendon.
