Huge drug bust in China

The police in China have broken up a large drugs ring, arresting 85 suspects and destroying eight narcotics factories.
State media report that more than 40 tonnes of drugs were seized in the raids after a six month investigation.
The gang is said to be based in the city of Yibin in the South Western Sichuan Province.
Police seized raw materials used to make the drug metham-pheta-mine, as well as US$2.6 million.
Officials in Yibin described the operation as one of China\'s largest drugs busts.
