Tivoli Gardens drop points in Digicel Premiere League
Champions Tivoli Gardens continued to drop crucial points in the Digicel Premier League, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by joint fourth place Boys Town at Collie Smith Drive yesterday.
Kemar Daley handed Tivoli Gardens the lead three minutes from half-time and Damion Benjamin equalized for Boys’ Town in the 70th minute.
Tivoli have now moved to 32 points, one ahead of third place St Georges who battled to a goalless draw with eighth place Sporting Central Academy at Brancourt.
In other games, Waterhouse climbed to joint fourth place following a 1-0 victory over seventh place Arnett Gardens at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex, second-from-the bottom Humble Lions upset ninth place Rivoli United at Prison Oval, while tenth place Village United and bottom place August Town played to a 2-2 draw at UWI Bowl, Mona.
