Pakistan stage fight back against New Zealand

The third and final Test between Pakistan and hosts New Zealand at Napier remains intriguingly balanced heading into tomorrow’s final day.
At the close of today’s rain interrupted fourth day, Pakistan who trailed by 248 runs on first innings reached 347 for 4. Pakistan are 99 runs ahead with 6 wickets in hand.
Mohammad Yousuf has so far top scored for Pakistan in the second innings with 89. He was well supported by Imran Farhat 61, salman Butt 66, Faisal Iqal 67 and Umar Akmal 48 not out.
The unlikely Martin Guptill, 2 for 28, was New Zealand’s most effective bowler.
Scores in the match so far are Pakistan 223 and 347 for 4, New Zealand 471.
