The St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister, Denzil Douglas has advised the country’s Governor General Cuthbert Sebastian to dissolve parliament.

In an address last night Dr Douglas also said he has no problem with going to the polls on the country\'s existing constituency boundaries.

However, he did not announce an election date.

His administration is before the courts trying to defend proposed new constituency boundaries that have been challenged by the opposition, Peoples Action Movement (P.A.M).

Dr Douglas has accused the P.A.M of trying to deliberately delay the holding of the elections.
