Young Jamaican jockeys Rajiv Maragh and Jermaine Bridgmohan shared two wins at Calder racetrack in Miami yesterday.
Fresh from a short trip home to Jamaica last week, Maragh won the US$12,500 sixth race and Bridgmohan, coming off a championship title success at Remington Park in Oklahoma, won the US$13,400 eighth race.
Maragh used the 5 to 2 second favourite BB’s Concorde to win the sixth race over a mile and sixteenth.
Bridgmohan, who was champion at the Tropical Calder meet during the 2006-2007 season, won the eighth race over a mile with the 4 to 1 bet Dancing Nick.
