Harbour View defeated Rivoli United 1-0 last night at the Harbour View Mini Stadium to hold on to their slim lead in the Digicel National Premier League.

The ‘Stars of the East’ will go into the Christmas Break with a one point lead. They have climbed to 36 points, one ahead of champions Tivoli Gardens, who hammered Village United 3-0 at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny yesterday.

Village United remain in the relegation zone, slipping from second from the bottom to last place in the 12-team standings.

Sixth place Sporting Central edged seventh place Portmore United 1-0 in a late game at Ferdie Neita Park.
