BA Cabin crew renews attempt at strike action

British Airways Cabin crew staff members are reportedly contemplating ways of going ahead with strike action.

Thousands of workers recently voted to withdraw their services for 12 days, starting today.

However, a court ruled that the strike would be illegal, thereby thwarting the plans of the cabin crew.

However, the Financial Times newspaper said British holidaymakers planning to travel to the Caribbean for February may be particularly vulnerable to a renewed attempt at strike action.

In an article the newspaper quoted tour operators as saying union leaders might target the next peak travel time for vacationers.

This would be the week of February 15, when most schools are closed and vacationers travel to the Caribbean for spring break.
