A Pakistan court has ordered that two men have their noses and ears chopped off, after the two were convicted of carrying out the same act on a young woman.
The anti-terrorism court in Lahore has also ordered that brothers Ammanat Ali, and Sher Mohammed, spend life in prison and pay US$8,300 in compensation to the victim.
The prosecutors say the sentence was handed down in accordance with Islamic law and the country\'s anti-terror laws.
The police say the woman was attacked for refusing an offer of marriage from Sher Mohammed.
They say on September 28 Ali and Mohammed and a third man stopped the woman while she was on her way to work.
The police say Ali and Mohammed used a wire to strangle the woman.
