Pollard leads South Australia to victory

South Australia with West Indies batsman, Kieron Pollard defeated Western Australia with West Indies Captain, Chris Gayle by 29 runs in Australia’s 20/20 Big Bash tournament at the WACA today.
Pollard top scored for South Australia with 45 off 31 balls to lead his team to 196 for 6 off their allotted 20 overs. Mark Cosgrove 42 and Daniel Harris and Cameron Borgas 34 not out were also among the runs.
Needing 197 for victory, Western Australia were bowled out for 167 off 19 overs with Gayle scoring 44 off 24 balls.
Shahid Afridi was the most successful bowler for South Australia with 4 for 19.
