The Windward Islands and Trinidad and Tobago are scheduled to arrive in Jamaica today for the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Four-Day Championships, which bowls off on Friday.

Windward Islands will be Jamaica’s first opponents, while T&T will start against Combined Campuses and Colleges.

St Lucian all-rounder Darren Sammy will lead Windward Islands’ 13-man squad.

Sammy heads a list of six players in the unit with West Indies experience, including the long-standing captain Rawl Lewis, who gives way to Sammy as team leader.

Others in the squad with West Indies experience are batsmen Devon Smith and Andre Fletcher and the fast bowlers Deighton Butler and Nelon Pascal.

The squad has one newcomer in the 20-year-old Dominican batsman, Tyrone Theophille.

Meanwhile, T&T have recalled fast bowling all-rounder, Richard Kelly to the 13-man squad. He will join Ravi Rampaul and Reyad Emrit as the pace options.

The Daren Ganga led squad is coming off impressive runs of form in the 20/20 Champions League last October where they finished as runners up, and in the WICB President’s Cup in November where they took the title.
