Harbour View, Waterhouse in final

Harbour View defeated struggling Arnett Gardens 1-0 at the Harbour View Mini Stadium yesterday, to join Waterhouse in the second End-of-Round final of the Digicel National Premier League.



As a result of the victory, Harbour View, the league’s overall leaders, have ended the second round in second position. The ‘Stars of the East’ finished on 20 points, 6 behind Waterhouse on 26 points.



Waterhouse, who defeated Boys’ Town 1-0 at Drewsland yesterday, had booked their place from last week.



With the victory, Waterhouse have climbed to second place in the overall standing on 39 points, 3 behind Harbour View on 42.



In other games yesterday, Sporting Central Academy registered a 2-1 victory over Rivoli United at Brancourt in Clarendon, August Town edged Humble Lions 1-0 at Effortville Community Centre in Clarendon, Portmore United and defending champions Tivoli Gardens played to a 2-2 draw at Edward Seaga Complex and the game between Village United and St George’s at Elliston Wakeland Centre ended 1-1.
