The Jamaica Basketball Association (JBA) will host Nigeria in a series of practice games at the National Indoor Sports Centre next month.

The Nigerians will be using the game as part of their preparation for the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in India in October this year.

JBA President, Ajani Williams said the local association is in the final stage of negotiations with the Nigerian Basketball Federation.

Williams says the Nigerian Basketball Federation will be paying for their own accommodation and airfare.

The JBA will select a national development squad comprising the best players from the National Basketball League for the games.
