West Indies Under-19 go through to quarterfinals

West Indies Under-19s go through to the quarterfinals of the International Cricket Council Under-19 World Cup, after Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 4 wickets in their Group D match at Fitzherbert Park in New Zealand today.



Pakistan’s victory confirmed them as group winners with maximum 6 points and relegated Bangladesh to third, with West Indies finishing runners-up with 4 points.



West Indies Under-19s will play their quarterfinal on Saturday against the winners of tomorrow’s last preliminary Group ‘A’ match between England and India.
