Australia opener, Matthew Hayden has been named to lead a Prime Minister’s Eleven against the touring West Indies in a one-day fixture next month.

The left-handed Hayden, who quit international cricket last year January, will lead a side that includes emerging wicketkeeper/batsman, Tim Paine who has already played 15 One-Day Internationals, and batsman Mitchell Marsh who is on the verge of international selection.

They will face West Indies in a one-day warm-up match on February 4 in Canberra, as the tourists prepare for five One Day Internationals and two 20/20 Internationals starting February 7.

West Indies open their tour in Melbourne on February 7 and will play One Day Internationals in Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane before returning to Melbourne 12 days later.

The two 20/20 Internationals will be contested in Hobart and Sydney.
