The opposition Peoples Action Movement (PAM) in St Kitts and Nevis said it intends to challenge the outcome of Monday\'s general election in which Prime Minister Denzil Douglas\' Labour Party retained power with a slightly reduced majority.
Labour won six of the eight seats on St Kitts with the other two going to PAM.
PAM’s leader, Lindsay Grant lost by a mere 29 votes, and that\'s one of the two results that officials of the party say they will be challenging in the high court.
Party Chairman, Cheslie Hamilton has alleged that there were a number of irregularities that it wants addressed.
