AHWHOFAH makes seasonal debut at Caymanas
Top sprinter, AHWHOFAH makes her seasonal debut at Caymanas Park tomorrow when she takes on six opponents in the Abe Issa Memorial Cup over 1200 metres, feature event on the 10-race programme.
The field also includes last year’s One Thousand Guineas, Oaks and Gold Cup winner, SAINT CECELIA and the crack American 4-year-old filly HONEYOFALADY.
The classy native bred filly SAINT CECELIA, HONEY OF A LADY and AHWHOFAH are out for the first time since occupying the first three places in the December 5 CTL Gold Cup over 1400 metres.
SAINT CECELIA won the Gold Cup and based on the handicaps should continue winning ways. Claiming apprentice Aaron Chatrie will ride the Spencer Chung-trained filly.
The 10-race card also features the Mercury Sprint over the straight-five course and should be won by debutant MR SPEED from the camp of champion trainer, Wayne DaCosta.
Post time on the card is 12:45.
