Meadowbrook beat Dunoon in Grace Shield

Meadowbrook High, led by a 7-wicket haul from Oshane Walker, defeated Dunnon by 64 runs in their Zone ‘D’ match of the Grace Shield cricket competition today.



The game was played at Meadowbrook High.



Batting first Meadowbrook were bowled out for 146 with Damain Hall top scoring with 54 and Abdul Foster getting 30.



Adrian Moulton was the top bowler for Dunoon with 6 for 30, while Leighton Wright got 2 for 29.



Needing 147 for victory, Dunnon crashed to 82 all out with Walker ending with impressive figures of 7 for 27, his second straight 7-wicket haul.



Meadowbrook, who have already booked their spot in the second round, are now sole leaders of the group going into their final match on Tuesday against Haile Selassie High.
