SA investigates World Cup airline price-fixing

Six South African airlines are being investigated for allegedly colluding to hike fares for local flights during World Cup football in June.



The airlines being investigated include: Comair, South African Airways (SAA), Airlink, SA Express and Mango.



The country\'s Presidency said it has received public complaints that fares have become drastically high.



South African Airways has agreed to provide the Competition Commission with evidence against the other airlines.



Except for SAA, the other airlines have denied the allegations, but say they will also co-operate with the commission.
