Austin earns Man of the Match award

Off-spinner Ryan Austin claimed a career-best seven for 42 and debutant Kjorn Ottley hit 66 as Combined Campuses and Colleges scored a five-wicket victory over Guyana late on yesterday’s third day of their WICB first-class match at

Three Ws Oval in Barbados.



The 28-year-old Austin ripped through the Guyana’s second innings as the visitors, well placed overnight on 60 for one, collapsed to 162 all out.



Combined Campuses and Colleges set 195 to win, reached the target with five wickets in hand.



Austin earned the Man of the Match award with match figures of 10 for 118, his first ten-wicket haul at this level.



Final scores Guyana 271 and 162, Combined Campuses and Colleges 239 and 195 for five.



Over at Four Square Oval, the Leeward Islands, set 202 to beat Trinidad and Tobago, reached 116 for five at the close of yesterday’s third day.



Scores are T&T 176 and 226, Leeward Islands 201 and 116 for five.



Over at Kensington Oval, Barbados, trailing by 20 runs on first innings in their day/night match against Windward Islands, reached 250 for four in their second innings.



Scores are Barbados 287 and 250 for four, Windward Islands 307.
