Tivoli, August Town kick off
The hunt for points in the crucial third round of the Digicel Premier League continues this afternoon with Tivoli Gardens, Waterhouse and Boys’ Town looking to cut into Harbour View’s six-point lead.
The ‘Stars of the East’ will be out of action due to four of their players being away on international duties in Argentina.
Tivoli, who are second in the table, will host the improving August Town at Edward Seaga Complex, starting at 5p.m.
Over at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny, third place Waterhouse and second from the bottom Village United face off at 3.30, while fourth place Boys’ Town play away to seventh place Rivoli United at Spanish Town Prison Oval at 6 p.m.
In the day’s other games bottom place Arnett Gardens will host sixth place Sporting Central at Tony Spaulding Sports Complex at 6 p.m. and eighth place Humble Lion will entertain tenth place Portmore United at Effortville Community Centre, beginning at 3.30 p.m.
