Medical aid needed in Haiti

The World Health Organization (WHO) is urging medical aid agencies to remain in Haiti as long as possible while health care is rebuilt following last month\'s earthquake.

The WHO\'s representative in Haiti, Henriette Chamouillet, said it will take several months for the least damaged hospitals in Port au Prince to reopen.

She said foreign medical teams are also needed to boost health care in rural areas.

Meanwhile, eight of the ten American missionaries who were accused of abducting children in Haiti have been released and are now back in the United States.

They were flown out of Haiti in a US military transport plane but may have to return at a later date for further questioning.

However their two leaders will remain in detention in Haiti.
