STATHS beat Campion
St Andrew Technical High (STATHS) carved out an 8-0 victory over Campion College as the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 schoolgirls’ competition continued yesterday at the Mona Hockey turf.
Stephanie Channer led the way for St Andrew High with two goals, while Camille Griffiths, Demi Nicholson, Kimberly Shaw, Michelle Thomas, Peighton Williams and Tannassia Jackson accounted for the other goals.
Following the victory, St Andrew Technical have moved to second place in the table on four points, two behind leaders Papine on six points.
Campion College are yet to get off the mark from three games.
In Zone ‘B’ of the boys’ competition, Jamaica College beat Papine High 2-0 to remain top of the table, while Wolmer’s edged St Andrew Technical High School 1-0.
Jamaica College are now on maximum six points, three ahead of second place Wolmer’s Boy.
The competition continues this afternoon with two games.
