21st None Such/Horse of the Year Awards ceremony on tonight

The 21st None Such/Horse of the Year Awards dinner will take place tonight at the Terra Nova Hotel, starting at 7 p.m.
Indications are that the Wayne DaCosta-trained AHWHOFAH will dominate the awards.
Having won five grade one trophy races as a four-year-old in 2009, the classy AHWHOFAH is almost sure to be voted ‘Horse of the Year.
She should also be named champion sprinter for a second-straight year, as well as champion middle-distance performer, champion local-bred horse and champion four-year-old and up.
BRUCE ON THE LOOSE, having lost the Triple Crown by a short head when beaten in an epic duel by HE’S REALLY OK in the Derby on June 13, looks a safe bet for the first runner-up to the Horse of the Year.
He should also be crowned champion three-year-old, despite leaving for Trinidad in August.
