Four standout West Indies Under-19 players who recently contested the Youth World Cup in New Zealand, will be on show tomorrow when they line up for the University of the West Indies Vice Chancellors’ Eleven against Zimbabwe in a 50-overs match.

The match will take place at Frank Worrell Memorial Ground in Trinidad and Tobago.

Prolific opener Kraigg Brathwaite, one of the leading scorers in the tournament, will join wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich, fast bowler Jason Holder and Yannic Cariah in a squad captained by Simon Jackson.

The four players will be looking to make an impression against the Zimbabweans who will get their first taste of competitive cricket since arriving in the Caribbean on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe, meanwhile, were put through an intense net session in sweltering conditions today at the Queen’s Park Oval as they prepared for the encounter.

The visitors will be captained by Prosper Utseya.
