Venezuela\'s President, Hugo Chavez, has threatened to pull his country out of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (ICHR), following the publication of a report critical of his government\'s human rights record.

In its report, the ICHR said the culture of political intolerance in Venezuela was weakening the rule of law and democracy.

However, Mr. Chavez has dismissed its findings describing the report as garbage.

Mr. Chavez also says the report is part of a permanent campaign of aggression against Venezuela.
