Canada beat young Reggae Girlz 4-1

Jamaica’s young Reggae Girls were thrashed 4-1 by Canada as the four-nation Women’s Under-17 football competition continued in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday.
Trudy Carter scored the lone goal for Jamaica.
Jamaica, who battled to a goalless draw against Trinidad and Tobago in their opening game on Sunday, will play their final match against Mexico tomorrow.
The young Reggae Girlz are preparing for the CONCACAF round of the Under-17 World Cup qualifiers in Costa Rica next month.
For the Under-17 World Cup qualifiers, Jamaica are drawn in Group B and will face Canada, Mexico and Panama.
Group A of the qualifiers consists of Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Haiti and defending champions the USA.
