Champs tickets sold out
The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association, ISSA, says grand stand tickets for the final day of Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships have been sold out.
Tickets for the four-day Championships, which starts next Wednesday, went on sale this morning at the National Stadium.
But before midday, the close to one thousand grand stand tickets, valued at 2 thousand dollars each; and the 50 season tickets, priced at 3,500 dollars each were all taken.
Tarrant principal Albert Corcho, who is in charge of tickets, says ISSA is only left with a limited number of tickets for the remaining days.
Meanwhile, Corcho has dismissed reports that the allocation of tickets to the public was poor compared to former years.
There have been widespread reports that grandstand tickets for the final day were gobbled up in large numbers by patrons and were being sold at a higher price on the street.
