Cuban hunger striker urged to quit

Cuban authorities have asked Guillermo Farinas to end his self-imposed hunger strike.



Hector de la Fe Freire, who heads Cuba\'s Department of Counter-revolutionary Activities reportedly visited Farinas in hospital and urged him to stop his nearly month-long protest because he risks dying.



Dissident Farinas is pressing for the release of 26 political prisoners who are ill.
