St James Division One Round Up

Salt Spring United recorded a 3-0 victory over Salt Spring Roses as the St James Football Association/Claro Division One continued yesterday.
The match was played at Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College in Montego Bay
Kelvin Vassell led the way for Salt Spring United with two goals, while Omar Clarke scored the other.
Over at the UDC field, Granville City and North Gully Ambassador played to a 1-1 tie.
Franklyn Allen scored for North Gully Ambassador from the penalty spot in the 78th minute, while Michael Copper leveled the scores in the 88th minute.
The competition continues this afternoon with five games.
The matches are West Green facing Rosemount at Mount Salem; Juniors playing Copperwood at Albion, Champion facing MBBC at UDC field, Little Miami tackling Upsetters at Tucker and Marl Road against Seaview.
