Guyana raises concern over competition

Guyana says it may take its concerns over pricing by regional monopolies to the region\'s newest regulatory institution.
The government in Georgetown is looking at the cost of air travel from Guyana, and the price of imported cement, over which it has an ongoing legal dispute with a Trinidadian company.
The government says it may ask the Suriname-based Caricom Competition Commission to investigate the two sectors.
The commission was set up in 2008 to promote fair trade in the regional Single Market.
