Pakistan Women set a victory target of 109 by Sri Lanka Women were 98 for eight after 19 overs in their Group ‘B’ match of the Women’s World 20/20 Championship at Warner Park in St Kitts.
Bismah Maroof has so far top scored for Pakistan with 42 from 40 deliveries.
Earlier, Sri Lanka batting after winning the toss were bowled out for 108 off 19.3 overs.
Inoka Galagedara top scored for Sri Lanka with 25 off 28, while Suvini de Alwis scored 22 from 25 deliveries.
Sana Mir, Javeria Khan and Nida Dar ended with two wickets apiece for Pakistan.
India will face New Zealand in the second match at the venue, starting at 2 p.m. local time.
