St Andrew High for girls defended their title, while a new champion was crowned in the boys’ section as the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-16 school league ended yesterday at the Mona hockey turf.

The Dr Michell Holt-coached St Andrew blanked Alpha 2-0 in the girls’ final, while Mona dethroned Munro College. Mona won the contest 3-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw after regular and extra time.

Kamille Griffiths led St Andrew High to victory by scoring both goals.
