Jamaican jockey Andrew Ramgeet enjoyed two wins on the eight race card at Presque Isle Downs racetrack in Pennsylvania, USA, yesterday.

The Kingston-born Ramgeet posted narrow but contrasting triumphs on the day to move to seventh in the standings with 16 wins.

Daniel Centeno leads the standings with 38 wins with Scott Spieth trailing in second with 30 wins.

Ramgeet’s first win came in the US$13,500 second race, going 5-and-a-half furlongs, aboard the six-year-old chestnut gelding Sunshine Bo.

The 46-year-old Ramgeet’s second success came in the fourth race with the five-year-old brown mare Vanna going a mile for the three-year-old and upward fillies and mares.
