Usain Bolt will run against fellow Jamaican, Asafa Powell, in a much anticipated 100-metre showdown at the Meeting Areva, Samsung Diamond League, in Paris on Friday.

This will mark the season’s first head-to-head meeting between both athletes.

The race also features another Jamaican, the improving Yohan Blake.

Three other Jamaicans are on the provisional entry list. They are Jermaine Gonzales in the 400 metres, Dwight Thomas in the 110-metre hurdles and Sherone Simpson, who will contest the 200 metres.
